Michelle Bruch

Michelle Bruch is an experienced journalist and producer currently working as a Producer for MinneCulture at KFAI 90.3 FM HD - Fresh Air Community Radio since March 2022. Previously, Michelle contributed as a Freelance Writer for the Inspired section of the Star Tribune from October 2021 to July 2022 and worked at the Southwest Journal from 2006 to 2020, serving as both a Freelance Reporter and Staff Writer with a focus on local news, businesses, neighborhoods, and public safety in Southwest Minneapolis. Additional experience includes contributions to The LINE Media, Hamline Magazine, KFAI, Minnesota Bride Magazine, and City Pages, as well as reporting for the Journal & Topics Newspapers and interning at the Cox Newspapers Washington Bureau. Michelle holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and attended the Institute on Political Journalism at Georgetown University.
