Nivera Wallani

Nivera Wallani currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for KFC. As the brand’s senior Development leader, she oversees all new store development, existing store redevelopment and asset design activities to accelerate the company’s sales growth in over 145 countries and territories and over 26,000 restaurants around the world.

Prior to this role, Nivera was the President and General Manager for KFC Canada where she was responsible for the strategy, performance and management of the Canadian region. Nivera also drove the Canada business forward while serving as CFO, Director, Controller and Manager of Financial Planning. Her compelling strategic leadership led to a proven track record of sales growth, profit growth and restaurant development growth for the KFC brand in Canada over the past 10 years. With her strategic foresight on digital off premise sales growth, Nivera helped position KFC to be the leading digital restaurant brand in Canada.

Prior to joining Yum!, Nivera served in various management positions. At Schneider Electric she was Manager, Financial Planning. Nivera was also Finance Manager with Loblaw Companies Limited, and was responsible for driving strong financial and internal control results for the organizations. She started her career in assurance and advisory services at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

She is a highly accomplished executive with extensive experience in change management, strategic planning, stakeholder management and high performance team building. Nivera is entrepreneurial at heart and commonly recognized for her impassioned approach and dynamic thought provoking leadership that inspires action.
