Arielle Zionts is an experienced journalist with a focus on rural health care and economic development. Currently serving as a Rural Health Reporter for KFF Health News since April 2022, Arielle reports on health issues affecting rural South Dakota and Native American communities. Prior roles include Business and Economic Development Reporter at South Dakota Public Broadcasting, where Arielle reported on economic trends, and Criminal Justice Reporter at Rapid City Journal Media Group, covering criminal justice reform and Indigenous affairs. Experience also includes reporting for Nogales International and serving as an Associate Producer for Interfaith Voices.
