KFI Engineers
Brian Sandstrom is an experienced mechanical designer with over 20 years in the industry. Currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Designer at KFI Engineers since June 2011, Sandstrom specializes in creating HVAC, piping, plumbing, and dust collection system drawings, while managing project standards and field supervision. Prior experience includes positions at AMEC Power & Process Americas and Williams Engineering Associates, where Sandstrom developed 3D models and drafted mechanical components for various facilities. Earlier career work at Hamon Deltak involved producing detailed drawings for heat recovery steam generation plants. Sandstrom holds an AAS Degree in Mechanical Design Technology from Hennepin Technical College.
