Anja Volk

Anja Volk is an experienced professional in the areas of humanitarian assistance and international development, currently serving as the Senior Portfolio Manager for Water & Energy at KfW since August 2017. Prior experience includes leadership roles at BGR - Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources as the Head of Africa Unit and Project Coordinator, as well as project management at ICON-INSTITUT Engineering GmbH. Anja Volk's early career featured positions at Malteser International, GIZ GmbH, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Trier, complemented by a foundational role as a Bank Clerk at Kreissparkasse Groß-Gerau.
