Carolin Gassner

Carolin Gassner is an accomplished finance and impact investment professional with extensive experience in risk management and project management. Currently serving as the Chair of the Executive Board of Directors at Global Climate Partnership Fund SA, SICAV-SIF since May 2020, Carolin also holds the position of Head of Department for South Asia and Head of Department for Credit Risk Management at KfW since July 2003. Previous roles include Chairperson of the Supervisory Board at MIFA Debt Fund SA SICAV SIV, a National Expert at the European Commission, and Vice President/Principal Project Manager at KfW’s North Africa and Middle East division. Carolin's educational background includes a Senior Executive Programme certificate from London Business School, a certificate in Development Cooperation from Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik, and a Diplom/Master in Economics from the University of Tübingen.
