Cordula Hinkes

Cordula Hinkes is a Senior Project Manager for Sustainable Finance at KfW since April 2021, focusing on sustainability topics within the domestic promotion division and engaging in cross-divisional projects related to climate-friendly financing. Previous experience includes working as a researcher at the Thünen Institute, where Cordula directed research on sustainable agricultural supply chains. Cordula's background also encompasses roles within the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where responsibilities spanned agricultural value chains and development projects in Asia. Additionally, a consultant role at the FAO involved contributions to the global biodiversity report. Cordula holds a Research Doctorate from the University of Göttingen and a Master of Science in Sustainability from Kiel University.
