Jens Hagen

Jens Hagen currently serves as the Head of Division at KfW Development Bank, overseeing a team of 10 professionals managing a portfolio of investment projects in the urban development sector across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, with a focus on various sub-sectors and a total portfolio volume exceeding EUR 1 billion. Prior to this role, Jens held the position of Vice President at KfW IPEX-Bank, where responsibilities included financing renewable energy projects, managing deal teams for transactions exceeding EUR 3 billion, and focusing on bilateral Power Purchase Agreements. Jens began the career at KfW in 2010 as a Project Manager and holds a Master of Science in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford, as well as a Diplom in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University.
