Laura Knierim has a diverse work experience starting from their internships in 2006 at People's Multipurpose Development and Bavarian Diplomatic Representation. Laura then worked as a Trainee at the International Organisation for Migration in 2011. Following this, they became an Editor at Europe & Me in 2010. Laura then served as a Research Consultant at the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation in 2012 before becoming a Junior Researcher at the German Development Institute. Laura later worked at KfW, starting as a Trainee in 2013 and progressing to roles including Project Manager/Equity Team, Project Manager/Emergency Projects Lebanon, and finally, KfW Project Lead for TUMO.
Laura Knierim completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth in 2010. Laura then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Political Economy of Late Development at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they were a visiting student at Université Laval in 2008 and Universitat de Barcelona in the same year.
