R.S. Jahagirdar

Dr. R.S. Jahagirdar, the high-volume professional, has got 32 years of teaching experience in Engineering education. He started his career as a lecturer in College of Engineering, Pravara, at Nagar and worked as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and as the Principal in Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni, at Ahmednagar. He acquired his Ph.D in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering). He is the man of thirst for knowledge has organized many faculty development programs. He has worked as Chief Editor of International Journal of Research in Engineering Science and Technology, ISSN. He is also recognized as member of Advisory Committee of Indo American Summit on Higher Education. He has executed Research work in Software, Biodiesel, Lubrication and Design. He has acted as Coordinator for Central for assessment of answer paper of Dr.BA marathawada university, Aurangabad Two colleges has been accredited and awarded under him with ISO 9001:2001 during his tenure. He has won the honor as Best Principal from IEI and as most Innovative Principal at National Level.

Academic and Research expertise includes Lean Manufacturing and Operations Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, e- Enterprise Modelling of B2B and B2C Markets, Simulation Modelling and Analysis, Quality Management, Information System Design, Decision Sciences, Applied Ergonomics, Systems Engineering, Strategic Management and allied Industrial Engineering and Information Technology areas.

He motivates students to organize and engage in various activities through Research and Development and Entrepreneurs cell. He has organized many knowledge sharing programmes for the staff and students. With relentless efforts, he strives for the quality and progress of the institution and guides the staff in accomplishing the vision of being a centre for technical and academic excellence. In all his activities he kindles the curiosity of the students to achieve more by their smart work. Each year our institution steps forward by securing two fold results than the previous semester.
