Ashok Bakthavathsalam

Ashok Bakthavathsalam is the Managing Director and Founder of KGISL Group of Companies and Institutions, with over 19 years of experience in this role since September 2004. In addition, Ashok serves as Managing Trustee for both KGiSL Institute of Technology and KG College of Arts and Science, and holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Empereal KGDS Renewable Energy Private Limited. Ashok has also been a Trustee at KG Hospital since January 2000, focusing on information technology strategy and development. Previously, Ashok held leadership positions such as Chairman of CII Coimbatore Zone and has extensive software development experience, including roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Cellnet Data Systems and a Software Consultant at HP Labs. Ashok's educational qualifications include a PhD in Software Engineering from Anna University Chennai, an MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
