Erin D Lewis, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the field of human nutrition and clinical study design with substantial experience in the nutraceutical sector. Currently serving as the Scientific Director and Research Team Manager at KGK Science Inc. since June 2019, Erin develops study protocols and comprehensive reports to ensure the success of investigational products. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Fellow at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, where Erin coordinated a multi-site human clinical trial, and Science Writer at Tufts University, focused on communicating research to the public. Early experience includes a role as Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where Erin developed regulatory materials for clinical trials, and teaching roles, including instructing at the University of Guelph's Creative Encounters with Science program. Erin earned a PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Alberta and a BSc in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences from the University of Guelph.
