Morgan Phelps has a varied work experience beginning in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Albertsons as a Customer Service Manager, where they managed customer complaints, wrote the schedule for their department, and handled money orders, utility billing, and deposits. In 2008, they worked for the US Dept. of the Interior as a Maintenance Specialist, helping to maintain back-country structures in Glacier National Park and providing basic interpretation of the park's history. From 2009 to 2010, they worked for Litigation Abstract Inc. as a Legal Document Coder, digitizing complex legal documents, summarizing them, and helping to create legal databases. From 2010 to 2012, they worked for the Fort Peck Summer Theatre as the Performing Arts Camp Director. In 2012, they worked for the Fort Peck Summer Playhouse as a Company Member. From 2016 to 2017, they worked for Denver Parks and Recreation as a Park Ranger. Currently, they work for Khamu Solutions as the VP of Sales, using their combined skills in sales and technology to drive new business for the company.

Morgan Phelps graduated from the University of Montana in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, History, Spanish, and Latin American Studies.
