Diona Clingman

Diona Clingman is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in leadership and teaching. Currently serving as a Professional Learning Specialist at Khan Academy since May 2023, Diona previously held the position of Executive Director of Academics at Flint Community Schools from March 2022 to May 2023. Diona's career includes significant roles such as Principal and Teacher at Beecher Community Schools, along with positions as K-2 Dean of Students at National Heritage Academies and Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Education, Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Education in Curriculum Instruction: Reading from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan-Flint.
