Zeljana Djurdjevic has worked in the field of Human Resources since 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Head of People at Nova knjiga d.o.o., the largest publishing company in Montenegro, with a dozen bookstores across the country. In this role, they led and developed a team of over 60 employees and acted as the main liaison between employees and top management. Zeljana also managed recruiting, hiring, onboarding and coaching, oversaw employee performance, identified and implemented action plans to raise employee engagement and efficiency, and worked on developing and maintaining a strong company culture and employer brand. Zeljana also served as the Director of the VIII International Podgorica Book Fair, and represented the company at regional and international fairs. Additionally, they served as a Sales Manager and Team Lead. In 2015, they began working at Khaoticen as a Human Resources Operations Manager. In 2018, they began working at Hemoterm Smart Solutions d.o.o. as the Head of People Operations. In this role, they led a project and set the foundation and brought stability to a newly established team and business, building the team from scratch and developing and managing the team while supervising their day-to-day activities. Zeljana also directed internal communications and all HR functions, including recruitment, hiring, training, on-boarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, employment law compliance, and reporting.
Zeljana Djurdjevic obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Montenegro between 2006 and 2010. In 2022, they obtained a RACR - Recruitment Academy Certified Recruiter from the Recruitment Academy in June, a NLP Practitioner Certificate from the IANLP International Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming in May, and a Certified Agile/Scrum Foundation (CAF) from Agile Management in January.
