Syed Abdul Rahman, FCCA, has a strong background in finance and has held various roles throughout their career. Syed began their career as a Fund Accountant at Trinity Fund Administration Ltd in 2008 and held this position until 2011. Syed then joined Khazanah Nasional Berhad in 2012 as an Associate in Finance and later became an Assistant Vice President in Finance until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Syed worked at Khazanah Americas Incorporated, first as an Assistant Vice President in Finance and then as a Vice President in Finance until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Finance at Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
Syed Abdul Rahman, FCCA graduated from Dublin Business School in 2011 with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Syed Abdul Rahman completed an ACCA, BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance program during their time at the school.

Khazanah was incorporated under the Companies Act 2016 on 3 September 1993 as a public limited company and began operations a year later. Except for one share owned by the Federal Lands Commissioner, all the share capital of Khazanah is owned by the Minister of Finance Incorporated, a body pursuant to the Ministry of Finance (Incorporation) Act 1957.
