Fatma El Shenawy

Fatma El Shenawy is the Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer at Khazna, a position they have held since June 2019.

Previously, Fatma worked as a Senior Associate at Arqaam Capital from March 2016 to June 2019. During their time there, they were responsible for providing analysis and support to the investment bankers in the origination and execution of transactions across the MENA region.

Before Arqaam Capital, Fatma interned at Innovety from January to June 2014. There, they worked on a number of projects, including developing a social media strategy for the company and conducting market research.

In August 2013, Fatma interned at CIL - Commercial International Life Insurance as an actuarial intern. Fatma was responsible for assisting with the pricing of life insurance products and calculating policyholder reserves.

After their internship at CIL, Fatma worked as an analyst at Akanar Partners from August 2014 to February 2016. During their time there, they provided support to the investment team in the areas of due diligence, financial analysis, and business planning.

In addition to their work experience, Fatma has also been involved with the Actuarial Science Association. Fatma served as the President of the organization from June 2013 to May 2014.

Fatma started their professional career as an intern at Quick-Wins, a HR consultancy firm, where they worked on a project to develop

Fatma El Shenawy received their Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from The American University in Cairo.

They work with Khoulood Rashad - Head of People, Ahmed Mohsen Hassaan - Chief Commercial Officer, and Ahmed Wagueeh - Chief Technology Officer. Their manager is Omar Saleh, Co-Founder & CEO.
