Karim Abbas

Karim Abbas has a diverse range of work experience. Karim is currently serving as the Head of Partner Operations at Khazna, where they manage key verticals including BNPL Operations, Strategic Partnerships, and Business Operations. Prior to this, they held the position of BNPL Operations Lead at Khazna. Karim also has experience as an Operations Specialist at Khazna and served as a Co-Founder at Doroub Adventures. Karim worked as a Tendering and Cost Estimation Engineer at Orascom Construction Ltd and as an Operations Specialist during their one-year compulsory military service with the Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering Authority. Karim started their career as an Installation Design Engineer at Prysmian Group, where they developed technical solutions for the installation of submarine high voltage power cables for offshore wind farms and interconnections between countries.

Karim Abbas earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Design and Manufacture from the University of Plymouth between 2014 and 2018. Karim also obtained certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in 2017.
