Chelsea Zawistowski

Afterschool Teacher at Kennedy Heights Community Center

Chelsea Zawistowski is an experienced educator with a background in diverse teaching roles. Currently serving as an Afterschool Teacher at Goodman Community Center since September 2016, Chelsea plans and organizes a variety of enrichment activities, including science experiments and team-building exercises. Concurrently, Chelsea has been a 3rd Grade Teacher at Tianjin International School since August 2014, focusing on creating a supportive environment for the cultural and academic growth of students. Previously, Chelsea taught at SCVi Charter School from August 2012 to June 2014, where hands-on project-based learning was emphasized to develop 21st-century skills. Chelsea Zawistowski holds a Liberal Studies degree from Biola University, earned in 2012, with an emphasis in Intercultural Studies and a minor in Biblical Studies.
