Willem Niemeijer

Willem Niemeijer serves as CEO of YAANA Ventures since February 2016, focusing on growth and sustainability in the travel and hospitality sectors. As a founding partner at VHG Asia and founder of Khiri Travel, established in 1993, Willem has developed a strong presence in the tourism industry across several Southeast Asian countries. Additional ventures include co-founding Cardamom Tented Camp, Anurak Community Lodge, and Visama Lodges, which emphasize eco-friendly and luxurious travel experiences. Previous roles include founding Khiri Voyages and directing American Pursuits LLC, along with the founding of Tad Fane Resort in Laos. In 2015, Willem furthered education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
