Lauren Phillips, originally from Leesburg, Georgia, graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communication, focusing on public relations. They began their career as a community relations intern and transitioned into research, working at notable news stations like WALB and WTVM in Georgia, and later at WFAA in Dallas. Currently, Lauren serves as the Director of Audience Data & Insights for KHOU 11 in Houston, Texas, where they utilize audience data to inform content strategies. As a co-founding member of the DFW WIRe chapter and a board member for the National Juneteenth Museum, Lauren remains engaged in their community while pursuing their passion for data and insights.
