Dr Rehana Begum

Dr. Rehana Begum has a diverse range of work experience in the field of global health and medical research. Dr Rehana currently holds the position of Project Lead at KHPT since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the Centre for Global Health Research (CGHR) from August 2014 to May 2020, holding the roles of Director of Operations and Senior Medical Researcher. Dr Rehana also worked as a State Quality Assurance Consultant for NRHM (Supported by UNICEF) from March 2014 to August 2014. In addition, they have held various consulting positions for UNICEF in Laos and Timor Leste, as well as for the World Health Organization. Overall, Dr. Begum has extensive experience in managing operations, conducting medical research, and providing consultancy services in global health and HIV-related initiatives.

Dr. Rehana Begum's education history includes multiple degrees in the medical and business fields. Dr Rehana obtained their MBBS from Ambedkar Medical College in Bangalore. Dr Rehana later pursued further specialization and completed their DLO at the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. Additionally, Dr. Begum pursued an MBA with a specialization in HR at Madurai Kamaraj University in 2008-2009. Dr Rehana also obtained another MBA from the same university, although the field of study is not specified.
