Maria Arvanitidou's work experience begins in 2010 as a Clinical Pharmacist at KAT Attica General Hospital. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the Department of Social Policy and LSE Institute.

From 2012 to 2013, Maria held roles at Prescient Healthcare Group, including Analyst in Pharma Product Consulting. Maria then joined UnitedHealth Group, where they served as an Analyst in Business Development and Corporate Strategy from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they became Manager in Business Development and Clinical Solutions, and from 2015 to 2017, they held the position of Director of Product and Solutions.

Maria's next career move was to Deloitte, where they worked as an Engagement Manager in Strategy and Operations from 2018 to 2019. Following this, they joined Sentio Solutions in 2019 as the Head of Business and Corporate Development. Sentio Solutions is a startup focused on mental health and developing digital biomarkers and therapeutics.

In 2021, Maria co-founded and became the CEO of Khyria, a company dedicated to improving women's experience and outcomes in midlife and beyond. Maria also co-founded Chronicles Health and served as an Advisor. During the same year, they co-founded The Sanguine Lab, where they held the role of Co-Founder, Venture Builder, and Strategy Lead. The Sanguine Lab is a mission-driven venture studio focused on digital health.

Maria Arvanitidou has a diverse education history. Maria holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Maria also has an additional Master of Science (MSc) degree in Health Policy, Planning & Financing from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Maria completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Pharmacology (MPharm) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

In addition to their formal education, Maria has obtained certifications in various fields. Maria completed a course on "The Economics of Healthcare Delivery" from the University of Pennsylvania - Coursera in April 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a specialization in "Reasoning, Data Analysis, and Writing" from Duke University - Coursera in November 2016.
