Alexander Savin

Alexander Savin has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Alexander is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Ki Insurance since May 2022. Previously, from 2020 to 2022, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Elephant Healthcare, where they played a key role in building a primary healthcare platform for clinics and hospitals in Africa and the Middle East. Before that, they worked at Bulb from 2017 to 2020, first as a Senior Web Developer and then as a Tech Lead, leading a company-wide Revenue Assurance team. Prior to that, Alexander worked as a Tech lead / Full stack web developer at Red Badger from 2014 to 2017, where they contributed to projects for clients such as Tesco, ASOS, and Fortnum and Mason. Alexander also has experience as a Software Architect at Boogie Software Oy from 2011 to 2013. Alexander began their career in 2002 at Manpower, where they served as a Testing Engineer in the Nokia Series 60 platform. Alexander then worked at Nokia Mobile Phones as a Software Design Engineer from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, they owned and operated Karisma Films Ltd, a small production company, from 2004 to 2014. Alexander's diverse experience showcases their expertise in software development, leadership, and project management.

Alexander Savin began their education in 1996 at Metallurgical College in Cherepovets, where they obtained a high school degree. During their time there, they focused on advanced mathematics, physics, technical drawing, and software basics. From 1998 to 1999, they attended Raahe Professional School, where they earned another high school degree. Here, their studies included computer science, programming basics, and electronics basics. Finally, from 1999 to 2003, Savin pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at the University of Oulu. Alexander'sfield of study at the university revolved around software design.
