Mek Bhumiwat

Mek first worked as an Insight/Data Analyst from September 2014 to October 2016, where they delivered analysis on customer behavior and competitive threats. Mek then worked as a Data Visualization Developer from March 2014 to September 2014, developing and maintaining dashboards for bank products.

Mek began their career as an Advisory Intern at PwC in January 2012.

In 2010, Mek worked as a Software Engineer Contractor at Buyzar Ltd, where they developed and maintained a web application. Mek also worked as a Software Engineer Contractor at Private Flight Global Limited, where they migrated and rebranded a core application onto a new platform.

Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance and Economics from The University of Auckland from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, Mek completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree at The University of Auckland, specializing in Finance. After that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Mek furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh from 2018 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Mek Bhumiwat holds certifications in the field of data analysis and machine learning. In May 2016, they became a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, earning the certification from SAS. Mek also completed a Machine Learning course and obtained a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016.
