Alejandro Porraz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality engineering and management within the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager of QC Supplier Quality at Kia Georgia, Inc. since October 2016, Alejandro has been actively involved in overseeing interior and exterior components from both local and foreign suppliers while addressing manufacturing, quality, and supply chain issues. Previous roles include Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at GreenTech Automotive, Quality Manager at Kasai North America, and Quality Engineer positions at Johnson Controls, Ficosa North America, and General Motors. Alejandro holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA in Manufacturing Management and Global Management, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a focus on Quality Engineering.

Kia Georgia, Inc. is the first manufacturing site in North America for Kia Motors Corporation based in Seoul, South Korea. Kia Georgia is located on 2,200 acres in West Point, Georgia, and began mass production on Nov. 16, 2009. Kia Georgia is home to the Sorento, the Telluride,, and the K5 mid-size sedan, two of the brand’s top selling models. Beginning in 2012, the plant has the ability to build 360,000 vehicles annually from U.S. and globally-sourced parts.
