Ted Arnold has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Ted started their career in 1992 as a Product Engineer at Nissan Motor Corporation. Ted then moved to Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in 1997, where they worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer and later became an Assistant Manager in Supplier Quality Engineering. In 2008, Ted joined Kia Georgia, Inc. as a Supplier Quality Manager and later held positions as Senior Manager of Quality Control, Head of Department for Quality Assurance, and currently serves as the Head of Department for Body & Paint Quality Control.

Ted Arnold earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Tennessee Technological University from 1980 to 1985. Ted later pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Studies at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 1989 and 1991. In 2000 and 2001, they underwent training with Dale Carnegie Training, but did not obtain a specific degree or field of study from this institution.

Kia Georgia, Inc. is the first manufacturing site in North America for Kia Motors Corporation based in Seoul, South Korea. Kia Georgia is located on 2,200 acres in West Point, Georgia, and began mass production on Nov. 16, 2009.
