Plamen Dimitrov

Plamen Dimitrov has extensive work experience in information technology. Plamen started their career as a System/Network Administrator at Internet cafés in 1998 and 1999. Plamen then worked as a System/Network Administrator at The Citadel Internet Cafe, where they were responsible for building and managing the network. In 2000, they became an IT Manager at the Ministry of the Transport and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as an IT Manager at Music 4 Less, and from 2005 to 2006, they served as an IT Manager at Ying's Place.

Plamen then joined Nantucket Island Resorts in 2006 as a Director of Information Technology. In this role, they managed multiple properties, supervised IT managers and administrators, and oversaw network security implementation. Plamen held this position until 2017 when they became the Director of Information Technology at Belmond Charleston Place. Later in 2017, they moved to Kiawah Island Golf Resort, where they continue to serve as the Director of Information Technology.

Plamen Dimitrov earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technics and Technologies from Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, graduating in 2003.
