Ope Bukola

Co-Founder & CEO at Kibo School

Ope Bukola has over 13 years of work experience, beginning in 2008 with New York University as a Senior Assistant Director. In 2011, they moved to the CK-12 Foundation as a Partner Relations Manager. In 2012, they founded CourseSky, an online platform providing an interactive Algebra 1 course to help high-school students get college-ready. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Product Manager at Amplify Education, launching the integration of a new assessment authoring platform, and building assessment reporting and data visualization tools. From 2015 to 2020, they held multiple roles, including Adjunct Instructor at Athena Leadership Lab, Barnard College, Product Manager at Google, and Board Member at Zeta Charter Schools. Since 2020, they have been the Founder and CEO of Enle, and Founding Member of Level. In 2021, they also became Co-Founder and CEO of Kibo School, with a degree program in Computer Science launching in 2022.

Ope Bukola obtained a B.A. in Economics & Mathematics from New York University in 2007. In June 2022, they became an Edtech Insiders Pioneering Guest (First 50 Episodes).
