Matthews Chang has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Matthews started their career as an Accounts Servicing Intern at Crush Singapore and later worked as an Accounts Servicing Intern at Ogilvy & Mather. Matthews then moved on to Feiyue, where they held multiple roles including Sales & Marketing Executive, Ecommerce Manager, and Product Management. After that, they worked at Ash Asia as a Key Account Manager and at One68 Pte Ltd as a Regional Account Manager. Matthews then joined Mondelēz International as an Assistant Category Manager, where they managed the growth and sales targets of the Chocolates category. Matthews later worked as an Assistant Commercial Manager at CHARLES & KEITH GROUP. In 2019, they co-founded TOKIGAMES and served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Currently, Matthews is the Chief Strategy Officer at Kickoff by Zuju.

Matthews Chang attended Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 2002 to 2005 where they earned a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with a focus on Avionics. Matthews then pursued a Bachelor of Business Management degree in Marketing at Singapore Management University from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, they participated in the International Exchange Programme at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. In 2012, they completed a Summer course in Buying and Merchandising Intensive at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
