Kristina Kennedy has over 15 years of experience in communications, marketing and operations. Kristina began their career in 2004 as a Senior Associate at RF|Binder Partners. In 2006, they moved to Zipcar as a Corporate Communications Manager where they managed communication for the company, including media relations, thought leadership, executive speaking, internal comm, product/market launches, awards, etc. In 2008, Kristina joined Gazelle as the Director of Marketing, where they established the brand as a leading one in its industry by acquiring 250K customers with an NPS of 70, and 30% return inside three months. In 2012, they became the VP of Marketing at Abine Inc., where they managed the entire lifecycle for Abine users, including marketing, operations, and customer service. In 2014, Kristina took on multiple roles, including COO & Co-founder of Kickstand Communications, Partner and VP at Kickstand, and Marketing Strategy Contractor at Philo. At Kickstand, they describe the firm as a digital PR firm founded with an MIT-mentality, and at Philo, they managed the rebrand from Tivli to Philo, including strategy, positioning, user segmentation, web design, and launch to university customers. Additionally, they also worked as Communications at Bigcommerce.
Kristina Kennedy completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2012 and 2014. Kristina obtained their BA from the University of Notre Dame in 2004, majoring in English and the Gallavin Journalism Program. Kristina attended Novi High School between 1996 and 2000.
