Dr. Rebecca Hawley has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr. Rebecca is currently working as a Consultant Special Education Law Advocate and Program Director at Oxford Royale at UC Berkeley. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Special Education and Head of School at Tilden Preparatory School. Dr. Rebecca also held the position of Executive Director Standford Madera Grove Child Development Program at Stanford University. Additionally, Dr. Hawley has worked as the Early Start Plus project Director at Support for Families of Children with Disabilities, as well as the Head Start/Early Head Start- Mental Health & Disability Manager at Alameda Family Services. Dr. Rebecca Hawley holds an MA and Doctorate in Early Childhood Development/Education/Early Intervention from Mills College (2006-2008), as well as a BA in Urban Sociology and Dance from Claremont Colleges, Pitzer (1991-1995). Dr. Rebecca also obtained a Special Education Law-Advocacy Certificate in Special Education Law from Drexel University (2021).
