James Barker

James Barker is an experienced project and general manager with a demonstrated history in the restaurant and business improvement sectors. Currently serving as Bid Project Manager at Kidderminster BID since October 2022, James previously held the role of General Manager at Comptoir Group from August 2018 to October 2022, where significant improvements in guest satisfaction were achieved through the turnaround of a struggling restaurant. Prior to that, James led multiple sites for Casual Dining Group and contributed to numerous operational roles across various locations in the UK. James began career management at Zizzi Restaurants and McDonald's, establishing a robust foundation in management. James holds a BTEC Level 3 in Civil Engineering from West Cheshire College and attended Catholic High Chester.
