Nick Nguyen-Dunn

Nick Nguyen-Dunn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Nick currently holds the position of Staff Engineer at Kiddom, starting in February 2021. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2021, they worked at InsideTrack as a Lead/Senior Frontend Engineer, where they played a significant role in developing a React SPA to reduce business reliance on SalesForce and managed consultants and interviews. Nick also designed a component library and created an Express wrapper for new applications at InsideTrack.

Before InsideTrack, Nick worked at CaseNEX as a Senior Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Here, they led the development of a custom JavaScript framework and contributed to designing an MVC .net application and Node API for New York State.

From 2008 to 2012, Nick worked at BlackLine Systems as a Developer, focusing on UI projects. Nick handled various responsibilities, such as developing custom UI controls, web services, and client-side plugins. Nick was also the lead bug fixer during their four-year tenure.

Nick's work experience also includes serving as the Department Chair of Computer Science at Chaminade High School from 2004 to 2008. In this role, they created the curriculum for the Computer Science Department, managed funds, provided academic counsel, and oversaw department personnel. Nick taught courses in introductory programming, AP programming, and digital media.

Lastly, Nick served as a 51 Bravo in the US Army from 1996 to 1999.

Nick Nguyen-Dunn completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from California Lutheran University between the years 2000 and 2002.
