Hannah Sitz Smith has a diverse range of work experience. Hannah started their career as a Public Affairs Intern at Coro Kansas City in 2012, where they served as a communication liaison and conducted research. Hannah then worked as a Turbokick Group Fitness Instructor at KU Student Recreation Services in 2013.

In 2014, Hannah became a Public Service Fellow at the Partnership for Public Service, where they managed relationships with campus career centers and developed engagement strategies. Hannah later worked as a Community Development Fellow at LIFEDesigns, Inc., where they collaborated with community leaders and developed service-learning curriculum.

Hannah's leadership experience includes serving as Co-Director of KU Alternative Breaks from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they partnered with non-profits, secured funding for student scholarships, and oversaw a budget of over $100,000. Hannah also played a key role in training and curriculum development.

From 2014 to 2015, Hannah worked as a Service Corps Co-Coordinator at Indiana University, where they managed service programs and coordinated volunteers. Hannah then joined the Community Foundation of Morgan County, Inc. as a Program Officer, managing grants and scholarships and streamlining procedures.

Hannah's most recent role was as a Marketing Strategist at Envisage Technologies LLC from 2017 to 2020, where they developed and implemented marketing strategies.

Currently, Hannah is working at KidKare by MinuteMenu as a Business Operations Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations.

Hannah Sitz Smith has a diverse education history. Hannah attended The University of Kansas from 2010 to 2014, majoring in Journalism: Strategic Communication (BSJ) and Psychology (BA). Hannah also obtained a certification in Service Learning from The University of Kansas in May 2011. In 2013, Hannah obtained another certification in Turbokick Group Fitness, although the institution is not provided. Later on, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) with a specialization in Nonprofit Management & Social Entrepreneurship at Indiana University Bloomington from 2014 to 2016.
