Sarah Ashley-Hewitson has extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Sarah currently holds the position of Content Accounts + Brand Lead at Kidoodle.TV®. Prior to this, they were the President of Road Trip Entertainment.

Sarah's previous role was at Serendipity Media, where they served as the Director of Development & Distribution. In this position, they led the Canadian content Sales & Distribution team and developed relationships with various networks and streaming platforms, including CBC, Corus, Super Channel, Netflix, and more. Sarah also implemented tracking systems for content placement and advised senior leadership on industry trends and distribution strategy.

Before joining Serendipity Media, Sarah worked at Harvard Media as the Director of Interactive. Sarah served as a bridge between Brands & Content, Revenue, and Engineering departments, ensuring a smooth flow of internal digital platforms. Additionally, they collaborated with senior executives to ensure consistent digital strategies for all stations, overseeing websites, streaming, apps, podcasting, and the smart speaker experience.

At Alliance Films Inc, Sarah worked as the Manager of Theatrical Sales. Sarah'sresponsibilities included booking films with independent exhibitors, managing budgets, coordinating booth displays at trade shows, and overseeing in-theatre marketing projects.

Sarah also held positions at Maple Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Canada.

Sarah Ashley-Hewitson's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Athabasca University. This degree was earned from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Toronto Film School from 2004 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Entertainment Business with a focus on Film/Cinema/Video Studies. In addition, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science/History from York University, graduating in 2004.

Sarah also holds additional certifications. Sarah is a Certified Digital Marketing Consultant, which they obtained from the Radio Advertising Bureau in March 2019. Additionally, they have completed the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course from Google, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
