Kids Above All
Kimberly Tapia is an accomplished marketing professional with diverse experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Marketing Coordinator at Kids Above All since August 2020, Kimberly has developed marketing strategies focused on brand awareness and image. Previous positions include a Mailroom Clerk at Northwestern University and a Barista at BrewBike Inc. Additionally, Kimberly held leadership roles within Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. as Publicity Chair and Treasurer, where responsibilities included managing online platforms and refining the organization's budget. A Marketing Intern at ChildServ, Kimberly contributed to social media campaigns and the creation of an annual report. As a Governmental Affairs Intern at ComEd, Kimberly developed management models and program materials. Kimberly's writing background includes contributions to North by Northwestern and the Northwestern Business Review. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University, complemented by international experience at Yonsei University.

At Kids Above All, we believe young people who have experienced trauma can become independent adults who live meaningful, productive lives. Since 1894, our mission has been to protect, heal and educate children and families so they can build better lives. Last year, Kids Above All served 2,541 young people and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties, who experienced trauma. We are experts in trauma-informed care, helping our youth on their healing journey so they can have the best possible life. Our programs include early childhood learning for children living in poverty, foster care and adoption services for youth who have suffered abuse and neglect, housing for teens and homeless young adults, and counseling.
