Jeff Hieminga

Jeff Hieminga is the Senior Partnerships Manager at Kids Code Jeunesse. Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the Canadian media and sports industries. Jeff has a proven track record in developing strategies and plans to modernize organizations, increasing membership and revenue, and collaborating with Boards of Directors.

Jeff started their career as an Editor at Rennie Media Inc. in 1999. In 2005, they were promoted to Executive Director of the Canadian Sporting Goods Association. During their four years in this role, they successfully turned around a 5-year membership decline by adding 100+ new members. Jeff also secured incremental revenue for the organization through the creation of four new revenue streams: industry directory; subscription-based industry newsletter; industry-specific job classified hub; sports market research.

In 2009, Jeff joined snapd Inc. as VP Strategic Partnerships. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing the company’s partnerships and sponsorship strategy. Jeff successfully secured multiple high-profile partnerships and sponsorships with leading organizations such as Coca-Cola, Ford, and Tim Hortons.

In 2019, Jeff started their own consulting business where they provided strategy and growth consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses.

Jeff joined Kids Code Jeunesse in 2020 as Senior Partnerships Manager. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing the organization’s partnerships and sponsorship strategy.

Jeff Hieminga has a Master of Business Administration from the University of East London and a Sporting Goods Business diploma from Fleming College. Jeff also has a Professional Sales Practices Certificate from the University of Toronto.

Jeff Hieminga reports to Kate Arthur, Founder & CEO. Jeff Hieminga works with Lisa Zombor - Leader, People & Culture, Matthew Griffin - Senior Program Manager, and Melek De-Wint - Senior Director of Strategic Development.
