Katie Kennedy

Katie Kennedy is the current Community Manager at Kids Discover. Katie has previous experience as a Content Marketing Consultant at Fluent, Inc and a Classroom Teacher at Archdiocese of New York. Katie has a passion for helping others and connecting with people. In their current position, they manage social media accounts and creates engaging content for the company. Katie also collaborates with marketing and data team members to create industry whitepapers. Prior to their work at Kids Discover, Katie was a Classroom Teacher where they planned and differentiated daily lessons for eight subject areas to meet the needs of 30 students. Katie also analyzed data from assessments to change & drive daily instruction in the classroom. In addition, Katie led professional development for other teachers on topics such as reading instruction and classroom management.

Katie Kennedy has earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Florida State University and a Master of Arts in Reading Teacher Education from the University of South Florida.

Katie Kennedy reports to Ted Levine, President & CEO. They are on a team with Ian Brown - Lead Designer, Lindsey Slotter - Customer Support Lead, and Michael Kline - Lead Illustrator & Cartoonist.
