Cruz Espitia

Cruz Espitia is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Attorney at the GSU Immigration Clinic, where Cruz successfully represented a client in obtaining lawful permanent residence status and prepared critical legal documents while working closely with clients in both English and Spanish. Cruz's background also includes internships at Coppedge & Associates PC and Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP, along with a strong academic foundation, earning a Doctor of Law degree from Georgia State University College of Law and a Bachelor’s in International Studies from Kennesaw State University.
