Nicholas D. Horan

Pro-bono Immigration Attorney at Kids in Need of Defense

Nicholas D. Horan currently serves as the Associate Director for Academic Enrichment at Boston University School of Law, where Nicholas D. leads initiatives to support law students in achieving academic success through personalized coaching and innovative resources. In addition to this role, Nicholas is a pro-bono immigration attorney representing immigrant and refugee children with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). Nicholas has previous experience as a teacher and consultant for Bridge2Rwanda, where Nicholas D. taught college courses and developed operational frameworks for the organization, as well as serving as legal counsel for Impact Hub Kigali. Additionally, Nicholas co-founded The Guardianship Lawyers Collaborative to provide affordable legal assistance to those unable to hire private attorneys. Their legal career includes roles as an associate in energy and regulatory law at Keegan Werlin, LLP and complex business litigation at MG+M Law Firm. Nicholas began their career with internships in judicial and legislative roles, following a JD from Northeastern University School of Law and a BA in History from Northeastern University.
