Arielle Shanker

Arielle Shanker has extensive experience in education and consulting. Arielle is the Principal and Founder of Shanker Education Consulting. Arielle has worked as an Associate Researcher at KidsKnowBest, a Research Fellow at the Center for Scholars & Storytellers, and an Associate at FUNdamentally Children & Dr. Gummer's Good Play Guide. Arielle also worked at MathTalk PBC as a Learning and Engagement Lead and at LeapFrog as a Curriculum Writer. Before this, they worked at Chicago Public Schools as a Lead Teacher and at One Hope United as a Lead Head Start Teacher/Teach for America Corps Member. Additionally, in 2020, they founded and ran Ms. Shanker's Camp in a Box, where they developed and implemented marketing and recruitment strategies, designed an interactive curriculum, and handled operations for the delivery of boxes to families across the Chicagoland area, D.C., Michigan, and Colorado. In the early days of their career, they worked as an Operations Coordinator at Teach For America.

Arielle Shanker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan. Arielle also has a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Dominican University. Arielle attended Deerfield High School for their secondary education. Arielle has earned additional certifications including attending the ASU+GSV Summit in 2023, completing a course on Conducting Remote UX Research Interviews from LinkedIn in 2022, and completing a course on Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID from LinkedIn in 2022.
