Ben Steefel

Ben Steefel has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral and mental health. Ben is currently the Director of Business Development at KidsPeace, a national non-profit organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Planning and Innovation Consultant at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. Ben also served as a Clinical Program Supervisor at Caron Treatment Centers, where they provided care to those with substance use disorder. Ben has experience as a Residential Program Manager at Serenity Lodge and as a Mental Health Technician at Clearbrook Treatment Centers.

Ben Steefel received their education from multiple institutions. Ben obtained their Associate's degree in Business Management from Lackawanna College from 2008 to 2011. Ben then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Penn State University, completing it from 2012 to 2014. Ben furthered their education at Penn State University, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Ben has pursued several certifications in the field of counseling and education, including a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP) certifications, among others.
