Fernando Gómez

Fernando Gómez is the current Dirección de Shared Service at KidZania. Fernando has over 20 years of experience in the financial and operations field. Before joining KidZania, Fernando was the CFO at Cultura Colectiva from June 2018 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were the CFO at Asdeporte from October 2016 to May 2018. Fernando's longest tenure was at Havas Group from March 1997 to March 2016 where they were the Head of Back Office / CFO. While at Havas Group, Fernando was responsible for the finance, accounting, billing and collections, client relations, facilities, operations support, customer support, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, taxes and tax planning, local and global reporting, human resources and IT departments. Fernando successfully implemented a strategy to improve financial revenues, completed two system conversions (MMS & ORACLE), and redesigned the operational flow of information leading to improved billing and collection of revenues. Fernando also designed and implemented new analytical and management reporting systems. In addition, Fernando performed value added analysis on risk and opportunities and presented options to management to make informed decisions that delivered revenues and profits. Furthermore, they developed a high performance finance team to drive disciplined work and strengthen controls, scaled infrastructure for growth and built shared service “HAVAS VILLAGE” within a low cost center. Lastly, Fernando implemented a Bonuses scheme by P&L profitability.

Fernando Gómez has a degree in Business Administration and Management from IPADE Business School, a D-1 in Business from Ipade, and a degree in Accounting from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
