Jennifer Thresher

Jennifer Thresher has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jennifer is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at KidzToPros since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Fractional CFO and Chief Financial Officer at Emtrain from February 2023 to present, and from January 2022 to February 2023, respectively.

Before joining Emtrain, Jennifer worked at Apex Learning where they had multiple positions. Jennifer served as the Vice President of Finance from November 2020 to October 2021, overseeing daily operations in finance, accounting, HR, facilities, and investor relations. Jennifer also acted as the CFO from October 2019 to October 2021, and as the Controller & Director of Finance & Human Resources from January 2018 to November 2020. Their initial role at Apex Learning was as a Controller, from September 2016 to January 2018.

Prior to Apex Learning, Jennifer worked at National Funding as a Controller from June 2013 to July 2016, where they managed a finance team and ensured adherence to national lending guidelines and treasury regulations.

In 2008, Jennifer joined AssetNation, a Ritchie Bros company, as an Accounting Manager. In this position, they oversaw financial, operational, and payroll functions for subsidiaries before and after acquisitions. Jennifer also led audit efforts in three variations of GAAP and facilitated consolidated financial reporting.

Jennifer Thresher began their career in 2007 at Veolia Water, where they worked as an Accountant for a year before moving on to other opportunities.

Jennifer Thresher completed their education in a chronological order. In 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from Youngstown State University. Following that, they pursued an MBA from the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Business. In 2018, Jennifer received a Strategic Human Resources Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, focusing on HR. Most recently, in 2021, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business to enhance their expertise in The Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial Leadership.
