David Straw

David Straw has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. David began their career as the Group Finance Director at ServiGroup plc, where they managed various aspects including HR, finance, and IT. David then moved on to Mouchel plc, where they served as the Finance Director for Regulated Industries & International, overseeing finance activities for multiple operational groups. Most recently, David worked at Kier Group as the Regional Finance Director for the North and Scotland, responsible for the consolidation of the construction division. Additionally, they served as the Business Stream Lead and Finance Business Partner for the Highways division. David has experience with acquisitions, financial due diligence, and integration. Overall, they demonstrate a strong command of financial management and strategic decision-making.

David Straw attended Arnold Hill Comprehensive from 1980 to 1982, where they studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. David then pursued their higher education at the University of Birmingham from 1982 to 1985, earning a BSc 2:1 Honors degree in Chemistry.
