Simcha Rivkin

Simcha ("Sim") Rivkin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and legal management. Currently serving as a Partner at Kiernan Trebach LLP since March 2022, Rivkin previously held significant positions at the NYC Law Department, including Assistant Borough Chief and Senior Counsel, where oversight of the Brooklyn general staff and management of litigation teams were key responsibilities. Prior roles included Associate Counsel at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, where Rivkin handled complex medical malpractice cases, and Assistant Corporation Counsel at the NYC Law Department, responsible for pre-trial litigation. Rivkin's legal journey began with internships and clerkships, including positions at the United States Attorney's Office and with Justice Richard F. Braun.
