Alajia Mckizia

Alajia McKizia currently serves as a Program Coordinator at Kiewit Luminarium since March 2023, focusing on the development and execution of public-facing STEAM-based programs and project management. Previously, Alajia worked as an Education Coordinator and later as Co-Director of Education at Big Garden from May 2018 to December 2023, where efforts included educating children about food growth and fostering community partnerships. An internship at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in early 2018 involved assisting artists and coordinating community programming events. Earlier roles included food service at Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, customer service at Hayneedle.com and Mutual of Omaha, and retail experience at Marshalls Distribution Center and Walmart.
