Florence Soquila

Florence Soquila, P. Eng. is a Civil Engineering graduate from Queen's University with experience in geotechnical engineering, having worked at Golder from June 2018 to March 2021 and Kiewit for a brief period in October 2022. At Golder, Florence conducted geotechnical investigations and analyses, providing technical support for various projects, including a three-month work term in Australia. Prior to this, Florence served as a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, facilitated tutorials, and conducted research on drinking water distribution systems. Florence also engaged in community initiatives as a Youth Language Leader, organizing French language activities, and served as an Activity Supervisor at the University of Prince Edward Island, where workshops were conducted to blend engineering concepts with English language learning. Florence holds a Biomedical Sciences degree from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Queen's University.
