Jad Akl

Jad Akl is a Civil Engineering graduate with extensive experience in the construction industry. Currently serving as a Field Engineer at Kiewit since March 2022, Jad has previously held various engineering roles at Ganotec, including Concrete Field Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Tank Field Engineer, and Piping/Structural Field Engineer, contributing to significant projects such as the AP60 Smelter Expansion and others totaling multimillion-dollar values. Before that, Jad worked as an Assistant Project Manager at KF Construction Inc. on the Montreal Insectarium project and completed multiple internships and roles in construction and project management, demonstrating a strong foundation in civil engineering principles. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree from McGill University and an initial year of study at The University of Edinburgh.
